In addition, our GPR program has a strong emphasis on Oral Surgery. Therefore, each year, an advanced standing is given the opportunity to Fellow in the OMFS program. Information about these types of opportunities should be directed to the program.

Application Process

Our General Practice Residency, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, Orthodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry programs participate through the PASS (Postdoctoral Application Support Service). For an application, contact PASS, 1625 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20036, or call (800) 353-2237. Please click here to enter the ADEA website for a PASS application.

All applications should be accompanied by the following support documents:

  • Personal Data Statement and CV

  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, for both predental and dental school course work and graduation from an Accredited U.S. or Canadian Dental School.

  • Three letters of recommendation and one Dean's letter.

  • Official scores from the National Board Examinations. NOTE: Applicants from foreign dental colleges are required to take the National Board Exam. Since admissions committees are not qualified to translate and evaluate foreign transcripts, Board Exams provide a uniform method for evaluating qualifications, thereby facilitating the admission of foreign dental school graduates.
Interested applicants should submit their application and supporting materials well ahead of the applications date. Selection committees utilize various admissions criteria such as dental school grade point averages, dental school class rankings, National Board Examination Scores, any clinical or research experience, and letters of recommendation. Applicants seriously being considered for admission may be contacted for interviews. Questions regarding the scope of the program, admissions qualifications, interview procedures, and timetable for selection committee decisions should be directed to the program directors.

Fee Schedule

Tuition must be paid in full at the end of each month or in accordance to your agreed terms of payment.
