Orthodontics is most commonly associated with children and braces. However, our Orthodontics department also works in conjunction with and other departments within the medical center to correct abnormalities of the jaws and facial skeleton. In addition, the faculty and residents of the department perform familial studies to determine the nature of certain developmental disorders and effect change by orthopedic growth modification.
Combined with our implant and prosthetic services, the Orthodontic Department can offer esthetic and functional changes for our adult patients as well. |
