  • Apply a cold compress to the area. DO NOT leave ice on any area continuously.

  • If there is bleeding, apply firm but gentle pressure with a piece of clean gauze or a small piece of clean cloth.

  • If bleeding does not stop after 15 minutes, go to the hospital emergency room immediately
